Provide an academically and socially successful future for students in DC!

We are thrilled to be entering our 21st year of operation as one of the highest-performing public charter networks in the District. With six schools in Wards 5, 7, and 8, we serve over 2,100 students in PK3-8th grade and continue to support our alumni to 10 years after 8th-grade graduation through PrepNext, our alumni support program. Our students (“Preppies”) have been accepted to selective high schools, colleges, and universities, collectively earning millions in scholarship awards and continuing on to graduate and launch their professional careers.

Your support will enable us to continue providing high-quality academic and social-emotional public education for every student at DC Prep. We firmly believe that every student, regardless of identity, zip code, or household income, deserves an excellent education.

Will you join us in making that vision a reality?

DC Prep 20th Anniversary Bash

In 2003, DC Prep was founded by Washingtonians, advocates, and families who wanted a school to believe in their children as much as they did. Today, we are proud to be one of DC’s highest-performing public charter school networks, helping advance great education in our nation’s capital.

Thanks to the generosity of our community of supporters, we raised over $500,000 at our 20th Anniversary Bash on May 11, 2023. These funds will help us continue to deliver high-quality education to our over 2,100 Preppies for the next 20 years (and beyond!).

Thank you for being a part of our DC Prep community! If you have any questions, please email development@dcprep.org
