Enrollment Information

DC Prep has closed enrollment for the 19-20 school year, but we are steadily prepping for the launch of the My School DC School Year 2020-2021 Application on Monday, December 16th, 2019!

DC Prep will once again participate in My School DC - a common application for nearly all DC-based public schools for the 2020-2021 school year. Visit My School DC for more details about the application process.

Please note that DC Prep waitlists cannot be carried over from year to year. Families must re-apply to DC Prep via My School DC for a chance to be admitted through the lottery, or to be added to the waitlist, for the 2020-2021 school year.

We strongly encourage prospective families to stay connected with us and to ask any questions about our programming directly to our Enrollment Team. They can be reached at enrollment@dcprep.org or via phone at 202-780-5126.

Upcoming Prospective Family Events

Formal Prospective Family Events for the 2020-2021 school year will kick off in December 2019. Families interested in learning more about DC Prep should reach out to enrollment@dcprep.org to ask specific questions about our programming.

Upcoming Open Houses:

In a formal setting, prospective parents are invited to our campuses to see if DC Prep is the right fit for their child. The Open House includes a 15-minute presentation of an overview of DC Prep, a campus tour, a classroom visit, a Q & A session with a campus leader, and an opportunity to apply on-site! Each session is about an hour long.

What our Teachers are Saying

“Our academic program is rigorous and results-driven, but it is also infused with joy. Joy promotes growth, helping kids master academics and also learn a new way of thinking.”
