*All of our campuses offer after-school extracurricular activities! Our elementary campuses offer a number of clubs, while our middle school campuses offer clubs and sports. Check your campus’s Prep Packs for more details.

SY23- 24 Immunization Policies and Important Dates

  • All students attending public school in DC must provide up-to-date immunization documentation or proof of medical or religious exemption in order to attend school. If the proper immunization documentation is not presented to the school in time, the student may be removed from school.
  • Families of children who are in danger of being excluded due to non-compliance with the immunization requirements will be notified on October 26, 2023. If families do not submit the needed paperwork confirming updated immunization information (or religious exemption) within 20 school days, the child will be excluded from attending school as of December 4,2023.

Asthma and Allergy Action Plans
If your child suffers from asthma and/or allergies, please print and have your doctor* complete the following action plan form(s) and drop them off at the Front Desk:

*Please note, these forms are to be filled out by a doctor, only for students diagnosed with asthma and/or a food allergy.

DC Prep Home & Hospital Instruction Policy

All public school students have a right to public education, including when they may have a short-term medical situation that prevents them from attending school in person. If your child has a medical reason for not attending school for an extended period of time, please review DC Preps Home and Hospital Instruction (HHI) Policy and submit an application, along with the parent consent and medical certification documents using the links below.

Displaying Student Data
DC Prep uses data to celebrate our students’ successes and to measure their progress. We post student work in classrooms and on our data walls from which teachers plan their teaching priorities. If you do not wish to have your child’s work displayed, please contact ParentDataQuestions@dcprep.org with the subject line “Do Not Display [student name]”.
