Anacostia Elementary Campus

Dear AEC Community,

There is so much we would like to share with you, but it can be distilled into two words – Thank You. Thank you for trusting us with your children. Thank you for partnering with us each step of the way. Thank you for advocating on behalf of AEC and standing up for excellence always. Thank you for sharing your stories, hearts, and ideas. It has been an honor to learn and grow with you and your children this year. While the year has dealt us unexpected challenges and opportunities, we stand by you, firm in our commitment to continue to do our best by your incredible children.

We are wishing you a safe, healthy, and peaceful summer, and we look forward to seeing you in August.

With gratitude and love,
Mrs. Desai Jennings and Mrs. Kuzma

What our Teachers are Saying

“DC Prep is the one school I know where I can have colleagues who share my educational philosophy, an organizational structure that values and supports my instructional practice, and where I can also live the best family life possible given the demands of working at a no excuses school like DC Prep.”
John Becker, 6th Grade Math Teacher (EMC)
