August 2009 DC Prep Middle Schoolers Post Impressive DC-CAS Results
Congratulations to DC Prep's middle school students for their outstanding performance on the 2009 DC-CAS. As shown in the chart below, they continue to dramatically outperform their peers in regular public schools. Overall, 65% were Proficient or Advanced in Reading while 70% were Proficient or Advanced in Math. Our 8th graders — the students who have been at DC Prep the longest — posted even more impressive scores, with 82% Proficient or higher in Reading, and 94% achieving those levels in Math.
